Visit to this pretty dog friendly Cafe in Surbiton

I consider myself a bit of an icon, so I was thrilled to discover this fabulous coffee and brunch house right on my doorstep in Surbiton.

The humans had previously popped in for coffee and now it's their favourite local for a hot drink on the way to work.

Now it was time to try out the food too....


Grilled sandwiches and poached egg with avocado on arugula and tomato, tater tots in a bowl, pink paper reading ICON, on wooden table.

....and it didn't disappoint! The menu has a great selection of brunch and lunch dishes, they tried the hot honey and haloumi sandwich and avocado on toast with poached eggs. And it was all just as pretty as the surroundings and super tasty.


I got a sausage brought to me by the lovely staff so I was well happy.

Icon is a really inviting space with luxurious seating, quirky decor and lots of colour. It's one of those places where you will spot something different every time you go.


There's always a lively buzz in the cafe but it can get very busy at weekends because there's nothing like it in the area.


There are a few tables outside the front of the cafe which are covered by an awning.
